I used New England Lawn Care for the first time in the 2019 season. I never used a lawn service before, and wanted to use a local service. I have a very small lawn so I'm not a big account for NELC, but I received thorough, personalized service from the technician Jake. NELC's products are very good and they eliminated persistent weeds that the products I bought at Home Depot could not eliminate. I also had overseeding done this fall by NELC. After several in-person conversations with Jake, I learned a lot about my lawn and its specific issues. NELC technicians continually receive ongoing training such as with the UMASS Extension Service, which is the resource I trust for lawncare in our zone. I am not being paid for this review; I am a female homeowner who likes to know exactly the "what and why" of any service I pay for on my tight budget, and I felt very respected by NELC. I feel that the 2019 season treatments and overseeding have got my lawn on the right track for next year. My neighbors noticed how great my lawn looked this fall after all the treatments and overseeding. I saw some of my male neighbors doing more work on their own lawns after seeing my results, LOL! I plan to use NELC again next year. Do ask about exactly which treatments you do and don't want and the pricing, and don't hesitate to ask whatever you want to know about your lawn and how NELC can properly care for it. They are very responsive and I am pleased with the service.
